Camerano

It is about a century and a half that in the lands of the municipality of Barolo, the Camerano family produces what is now recognized by all as some of the best Piedmontese red wines.
It was exactly 1875, the year in which the wine business began, which with time, from father to son and from generation to generation, is still active today and is driven by the same cornerstones of its origins.
In fact, we start from the extreme care of their lands and vineyards, which with the utmost respect for nature, the environment, and biodiversity, are managed without ever overriding the most rooted local traditions, but at the same time always paying attention to most modern and current agronomic innovations.
In the vineyard, the search for the balance of each plant is continuous. During the harvest, the result is given by grapes that are straightforward, healthy, rich and concentrated in their smallest organoleptic nuances.
Counting on a vineyard extension that currently reaches about 12 hectares, the most classic Piedmontese varieties are grown between the rows, for which Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera grapes are found.
In the cellar, there is absolutely no room for fashions and trends of the moment, and everything is focused on maximum respect for the most rooted winemaking traditions of the Langhe, so we start with maceration on the skins of over ten days, to move on to aging that involves only the use of large woods.
The resulting wines are wines that, when young, are remembered for an austere and tight style, which, however, evolves with time and with aging in the bottle, so all those who have the patience to wait for them will encounter labels from sure charm.
