Garofoli

Since 1871, the Garofoli family has been involved in wine production in the Marche region on the east coast of Italy. Carlo Garofoli, with modern production methods and respect for the wine traditions of the Marche, has placed Garofoli as one of the most important producers in the area. If we are to talk about stability, Garofoli is unique. The quality is always to be reckoned with and the concept of “value for money” really makes sense here.
The production is concentrated on Marche’s classic wines. Garofoli runs their business from 2 properties. Serra de’ Conti, located in Verdicchio, vinifies all quiet white wines, while the red and sparkling wines are produced on the property Castelfidardo which belongs to Conero.

In addition to a number of excellent basic products, Garofoli also produces some characteristic single-field wines, of which “Macrina,” “Podium” and “Serra Fiorese” are all made from the green Verdicchio grape. The wines “Piancarda” and “Grosso Agontano” are both red wines from the Conero area. The grapes for the latter come from the Paterno field, located in the middle of the beautiful Monte Conero nature reserve. Most recently, Garofoli has also started producing Verdicchio di Matelica, a mineral wine from an exclusive area a little further inland.
